Join for an evening celebrating the great work happening across catchment groups in our region
When: Thursday 25 June, 5–7.30pm
Where: Netball Courts Function Room, Colombo Road, Masterton
Hear stories and project updates from local groups, learn about current initiatives including the MPI Feral Deer Management Pilot Project, and discover how the Collective and partner organisations can support catchment action in your community.
We’ll also be exploring rural wellbeing and resilience — sharing practical ideas around strengthening community connections, preparing for emergencies, and supporting resilient rural communities through local knowledge and collaboration.
Whether you’re already involved in a catchment group, interested in joining one, or curious about starting a group in your area, everyone is welcome.
There’ll be plenty of opportunities to connect with others working in this space, share ideas, and have a yarn. A short AGM will also be held during the evening.
Committee nominations now open
Want your catchment group to have a voice at the table? Nominate a willing member (or yourself!) to join the Wairarapa Catchment Collective Committee.
All current committee members need to be re-nominated too.
Send your nomination form to kirsty@wairarapacc.nz by 11 June.
Find out what’s involved by checking out the Committee Terms of Reference or get in touch with a current committee member - or contact Chair, Richard Johns directly on 027 307 8182.
