Skink and Gecko live show

Reino Grundling will talk and show slides illustrating the mostly unrealised role that lizards (skinks and geckos) had in our pristine ecosystems with some 130 or more different species! And what makes this presentation so marvellous is that he will have a number of living examples there for all to see! Great for the kids!
Conservation colouring competition

The Masterton Library are celebrating the importance of conservation with a colouring competition – and there are some great prizes up for grabs. There’ll also be an informative display featuring conservation themed resources you’re welcome to take home with you.
Dr Marie Doole biodiversity funding talk

Forest and Bird are showing this film, starring Sam the Trap Man, in three locations. The Regent have generously offered to show it where it will have the most effect – on the big screen! The film is produced by Pure Advantage who have an aspirational programme around landscape-scale restoration of native forests called Recloaking Papatūānuku.
Kōkako morning hikoi
